Corporate History

1996 1996 NCP was founded as an Alabama corporation by Dr. Daniel C. Carter, Dr. James R. Hudson, Jr., and Dr. Joseph X. Ho. The company's purpose was to commercialize technologies related to Human serum albumin (HSA).

1997 1997 Started operation at the former Loral Aerospace Building and began construction of the first in a series of modern laboratories within the 20,000 square foot facility.

1997-2000 NCP was largely funded by contract awards from NASA and other government agencies. During this period, the Company successfully executed and supported an important component of NASAs protein crystal growth in microgravity program. Concurrently, the Company continued to develop and expand its proprietary portfolio of HSA and crystallographic technologies resulting in the development of its Crystallography and Albumin-based Drug Design and Development Program (CADEX™).

1999 Introduced the company's first product --- recombinant HSA.

2001 2001 Reincorporated in Delaware to take advantage of Delaware's well-developed corporate law and facilitate NCP's transition from a locally owned company to one with a geographically diverse shareholder base.

2006

NCP moves to sharply focus as an Oncology and Antiinfective company in view of the tremendous potential for the CADEX™ and Salus™ technologies to impact the safety and efficacy of pharmaceuticals with narrow therapeutic indices

NCP engages the firms Harpeth Capital LLC and Biopharm Development Group to provide the company with consulting, financial advisory and investment banking services in connection with the company’s strategic options going forward.

The Company exclusively licenses its recombinant antibody platform to Austrian biopharmaceutical company, F-star, as it begins to strategically license and partner components of its non-core technology portfolio.
